Tooth Implant Guide is a free service that connects patients with local dental-implant providers and clinics. We are not a dental practice, we do not provide dental care, and nothing here is medical advice. Always consult a licensed dentist or oral surgeon.

The short answer

The implant posts are usually titanium, sometimes zirconia, both of which the body accepts well and bone can grow around. The teeth on top are made of acrylic, composite, or zirconia on a metal or zirconia frame. Zirconia teeth cost more and resist wear and staining better than acrylic. Your provider explains the material choices.
